“Poems About Life, Love, and Everything in Between” is a poetry collection that provides a glimpse into the heart, mind and soul, of its author JoAnne Myers. It is a heartwarming read, written with love and respect for others. Some poems were written in times of sorrow, other poems were written in times of joyous celebration. Life if like that. I want to mention MIDNIGHT HEAT and it's upcoming release. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have had to push the release date back again. I'm just as unhappy about this as I know you are. However, a medical emergency combined with my husband not having help with the family business this summer means I was working 14 hour days 7 days a week right along side him. My dear friend Amy Lillard has a new book out today. If you've never read one of her books, Amy Lillard writes romance filled with hope, humor, and grace. I'm very late to this post today, but...today's spark my muse is HER BY ME by 3 Doors Down. I hear Dominic whenever I hear this song. I adore it. And the video isn't too bad either. ;-)
While searching for something to share with you today I visited my boards on Pinterest? Do you use or visit Pinterest? I absolutely love it! I have boards for things that inspire me, boards for each of my books, and secret boards where I keep items that I either feel will be useful or inspiring for future books.
Before writing a word, take some time to jot down key story points. As you're writing, the story will want to take on a life of its own. Having a handy reference of key points will help keep your story on track and you from pulling your hair out. A list of key points is also helpful when outlining the story plot. You may very well find that the story begins to unfold as you're writing down the key points. If this happens...let it! Write down any ideas or details that come to you, they'll come in handy later.
I stumbled upon this photograph a few weeks ago and was immediately inspired. It's just so S-E-X-Y! I’m reading the wrong book. I’m fixated on the wrong hero and desperately fighting the urge to return to writing THE WRONG BOOK. You guys need Dominic Price and I can’t stop fantasizing about Joe Campbell. Don’t get me wrong, I love Dominic as much as you do, but I can’t wait for Joe to break hearts this December.
Here is my inspiration for Joe. Can you blame me? |
